About us
Jinnah Teaching Hospital
Jinnah Teaching Hospital is a 500+ bed, state-of-the-art tertiary care hospital, teaching institute, and research centre, serving the healthcare needs of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa region, the rest of Pakistan, as well as Afghanistan and neighbouring countries. Strategically located near the Motorway Toll Plaza, the hospital is equipped with the latest medical technologies and staffed by some of the most experienced and highly trained consultants and medical professionals in the country. Over the years, Jinnah Teaching Hospital (JTH) has established itself as a trusted name in quality healthcare.
Founded with a vision to provide advanced healthcare with empathy, compassion, and minimally invasive practices, Jinnah Teaching Hospital was developed under the auspices of Alliance Healthcare (Pvt.) Ltd. Registered with SECP as a private limited company, AHL was established by a group of dedicated healthcare professionals and colleagues who shared a common goal: to meet the ever-growing healthcare demands of the region. Jinnah Teaching Hospital was the flagship project of AHL, which has since expanded to include a medical college, a teaching hospital, an allied health sciences institute, and a university of health sciences.
Currently, Jinnah Teaching Hospital serves an average of over 1,000 patients daily in its outpatient department and offers specialised services such as the Linear Accelerator in Nuclear Medicine, POA Bone Bank in Orthopaedics, Neonatal Transport Service in Paediatrics, and a dedicated COVID-19 ward—facilities that remain scarce in the region.
The hospital is recognized by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Pakistan for both House-Job and Postgraduate Training. Most consultants at Jinnah Teaching Hospital also serve as faculty members at Jinnah Medical College, ensuring that medical students and trainees benefit from their expertise while patients receive care rooted in knowledge, research, and compassion.
